The 7-month timeframe is dependent on whether the PDE and encounter data is timely. Using a cost avoidance of $3,324 per month average per provider and applying it to the estimated 1,920 new revocations, a delay in screening would cost the Trust Fund approximately $44.7 million (3,324 × 7 × 1,920).
